Default OK..maybe not my finest mod...

Fit and finish of the after market tail lights is pretty shabby.

rx300's look pretty cool on the silver - sorry to hear about the fit and finish, though - where from?

They are they RX300 style from Modern Performance.

These are NOT made by Nodern Performance, just sold by them so I don't blame them for and fitment issues and will happily order from them again.

There is about an 1/8" gap along the top of the tail light that is not there with the OEM's. [:'(]

I'll keep an eye out for leaks and see if they grow on me.

I'll have to play around to see if I can get it a little tighter.

Picture of gap:

My Mopar 3D taillights have a tiny gap (not 1/8" though) all the way around, but so did my stock taillights. The quality of the finish is the same as stock. The one drawback of the Mopar's is that they cost $30 to $60 more.....

When I had the stock lamps and washed my car, I'd insert a paper towel in the gap to draw the excess water out....I do the same with these. I THOUGHT I was getting away from this stupid chore with the new lamps........NOT!![:'(]

For future buyers sake, here's how the Mopar's fit.....I'd take either one, nobody is going to get that close to you for that long in a SRT-4 to notice any gaps....they'll be too busy choking on your dust!!![sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley36.gif]

Dusty, next time you got your camera handy, could you take a close up picture similar to mine? I'de appreciate it. [sm=smiley20.gif]

*Good point about "choking on dust"

Will do! Like I said, I have a gap as well, but it's about the same as the original...considering the thin metal in the area, I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a factory difference....

BTW, I tightened down the plastic bolts as far as I dare the day I did the install. I went back a few days later and was able to tighten them down a bit more, and the gap reduced as well. I think it was the foam/rubber gasket around the bulbs "setting in".....
