bov releasing too much pressure!?!?!?
look man....I suggest you eaither google it out or go to srtforums.com and ask those guys there, they have been around longer and dealt with every little problem you might think of.Ask them about the boostleak tester..they'll be more than happy to help you out and answer any other questions. And i'm sorry I can't tell you if it's ok to back those bolts off because I've never put on a mopar bov, but listen to my advice and ask the guys at srtforums
if it's over tightened it will just cause air to come out through a leak. since it's a plate, it's very easy to do this. hence why it's called a boost leak.
here's instructions on how to build and use a boost leak tester. it's not that hard...

alright i did some work on it today. its acting like it will seal and air wont get out until i let off the gas to change into 2nd gear. when i let off the gas its like the flange is opening up and staying open and its constantly releasing the pressure. then if i coast for a while it will seal itself back shut and start working right (not letting the pressure out) until i let off the gas again. so i replaced the factory valve with a different one (tihnking it night be in the spring or seal) and had no affect. has anyone heard of a defected mopar plate? i know that everything is on right, gasket is lined up, bolts are tightened....anyone have any ideas. and redevil dont get too frustrated with me
