Default internal wastegate

this maybe an incredibly stupid question so if it is please to make too much fun of me....but can we put an internal wastegate on out cars. i found one for 80$ and was wandering if it would work

yes, but you have to send out your manifold to be fitted for it.

not really. people have done it, there's just no real reason to unless you're in a race car. hell even the n2mb race car isn't internally wastegated, and mchat can't touch that car

yes it is my car. their race car is also red. as is the street car. all the fast cars are red it's a known fact haha (all joking aside though, around here though all the fast cars really are red other than one silver, it's kinda weird).


hemi - there really isn't one. external wga's are a better set up, they allow for easier tuning and better control over boost. internal wga's are used with certain turbo systems where they are designed that way, usually due to space constraints. the wga sits in the turbo housing itself. and those are a pain to deal with when you have to adjust. you think our wga's get hot? lol
