I was there watching him, he got a factory freak, like the stock 98 Z28(M6) that ran a 12.8, in July, in NJ...as tested by MM&FF[8D] or the 94 Z(A4) bought by GMHTP, the only mod was Royal Purple and it ran a 13.8(I know it was stock 'cause GMHTP uses my machanic). They happen, then again, he's also been driving GAGT's all his life.

nah, not the infamous "Andy" i've read about. I'm with you guys, show me the slip, and I would be one of the first in line to call B.S. if I wasn't there myself. I don't have the slips(why would I), but it was in April 03, at E-town in Jersey for the High-Performance Pontiac day.

Excuse my doubt, but I have problems with any Pontiac running true numbers at a "High-Performance Pontiac day" at any raceway. They are there to sell Pontiacs, and as such are going to tweek the cars to make them look their best. They can call them "stock" or whatever, that word has a variety of meanings in the race world. Bottom line is, anyone driving a SRT-4 doesn't have to fear a Pontiac of any type. I've driven many Pontiacs as rentals, they remind me of Mustangs. Lots of pep, but nowhere near the explosive power of a SRT-4.

Sorry I'm old fashioned, but unless it's in print with supporting documentation, I can't buy it. It's the same reason I don't believe in UFOs.

I understand, but this wasn't a test car, it was his own vehicle, and I know for a fact that it was stock.

Anyway, I'm ordering my SRT-4 at the end of next week!
