RE: Newbie from New York (My Flystratus98)
I had a modified engine before this one holly pistons 5mm bigger than stock chambers were cut to put them in and it boost the HP to 220 according to the dyno sheet the engine lasted 3 years before it started giving me headaches so i bought a new one and replaced it. I guess I race it to hard many times over at the track. Now I have a stock engine and im going to leave it as is. The ram scoop is for apperance for now until this summer when the hood is going to be cut to put in an air intake rectangular filter and run the air through the holes of the scoop I think it will work better that way. I just ran out of time in the project is cold now. Im thinking of covering the top engine part cause the unit falls right in the scoop on the bottom when you open the hood you will see the intake and when you close the hood and drive it all the rushing air will be sucked through the scoop. Im also thinking of super charge but i have to combine the fuel air mixture propertly and is done. thanks for the interest. Peace

BAck in the late 90's Dodge used to have a race team that used the 2.4L as a race engine. Those things would fly and they dominated the Hondas, Toyotas, etc that they raced against. If I remember correctly they were getting around 320 HP from the normally aspirated engine. Pretty frickin strong.

Yeah. The class only lasted a couple years since the Dodges were cleaning up. Can't recall for the life of me what the class designation was. But yeah the cars really looked very similar to the body work/kit he has on the Stratus. All he needs are a cage and window net, and a number on the side.
