RE: If Your A Newbie, Post And Int
Hey folks, hows it going? Well, my name's Jesse and I live in Dover, Ohio. I'm a die-hard old car buff. I am yet to find a post 1985 car that I like. I currently own a 1984 Chevy Monte Carlo SS, a 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale, and a 1975 Chevrolet K20 4x4. I have been a hardcore GM man since I could walk and have never owned anything non-GM. Now I said that so I could say this. I will sell each and every one of those vehicles to buy the new Challenger when it comes out. You know why? Because in this whole neo-muscle car movement that's going on with Ford's new Mustangs, the impending release (and subsequent doom) of the new Camaro, and what I see as Dodges failure to deliver with the Charger, the Challenger is the only vehicle I have seen that is going about it the right way: going back to roots. Having said all this, I know I'm about to get a flurry of people informing me of how much I suck because I don't like tuner cars, or because I dissed the Charger. To all of them I say "Life Sucks, Buy a Helmet."

Brent here from Ottawa Ontario, North of the Border.
Been reading posts here for the last 6 months and finally decided to hop on and throw my hat in. My spare time consumer is a 2001 Dakota Club Cab RWD 3.9 Mag. Bought it a year ago December off a lease and haven't fallen out of love with it yet! (nor do I intend to).
I'm a 24 year old youth pastor at a baptist church here in town. www.bromleyouth.bromleyroadbaptist.org
Looking forward to many years of blissful transportation and head turning good looks (can't help that with a 2nd gen Dakota!).

one newbie here!!
I bought my 06 Charger about 10 days ago. Its Stone white, with custom Leather/suede seats. I put a Black wood dash kit in and 20" Wheels. I love the car. It's my first brand new car. I didnt get the V8, because gas is not going down anytime soon, and with 250hp at my fingertips now... couldnt see paying so much more just for another 90hp.. wow I guess that is alot of HP... oh well in any case, I'm happy with my new car. The only thing I havent done yet which I'm just considering... is Tinting the windows, buying the Borla exhaust from Mopar... and a cold air intake. I'll post pictures soon!

RE: If Your A Newbie, Post And Int
Hi All,
I Already posted in the intro forum . . .but here goes anyway:
I just bought a 2004 Quad Cab 1500 wiht the 4.7 engine and a 5 spd manual tranny (transmission- needed to clarify). I know it's not the HEMI, but I dont pull trailers and I dont haul cattle . ..<wink, wink> !
I bought the truck with 18000 miles on it and its stock. I had a Mazda B2300 before this so, this is my first "Real Truck." Yes I know . . . when I step on the gas pedal, I can hear my bank account emptying, but this is the first vehicle that has ever made me smile when I drive it.
Here's some pics and I welcome any advice on Nerf bars, ehaust or accessories. Also any info on things to watch out for or "gotchas".
