RE: If Your A Newbie, Post And Int
Just bought a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500, with a blown motor. I'm in the process of replacing the motor with a 1999 5.2. What types of issues can arise? Thank You. I'm 58, engineer (presently unemployed, ex-Ford) here in Michigan. Thank You. I'm struggling with the E-mail system though, have to get the kids to show me

Wow. There's a lot of folks here......and now me.......appologies, really
I'm an old school gearhead that's been hooked on the sound of wailing mopar big blocks since high school, and yes that was a while back.
I currently have a C-body chrysler ('65 New Yorker) with a warm-ish 413 that loves to eat small block Nova's and other un-suspecting boy racers.....and I'm working on a '72 D-200 pick-up being repowered with a 440 and fit with some evil rear-end gears.
I've done plenty of engine and transmission building and modification, and must confess I'm a bit drive train biased.
I put a post in "parts wanted" for anyone who's curious, and I do have some inventory to trade/swap/ or otherwise make usefull for the promotion of the penta-star brand
I'll be looking forward to harassing, ribbing, and otherwise getting to know you fine peoples as time goes on.............Peace out for now.

RE: If Your A Newbie, Post And Int
Hi there, been browsing around the forums for a few weeks now, just now finally got around to registering, well just thought I'd finally say hi to everyone.
Currently I own a 2000 Dakota QC with the V6 (unfortunately all I could afford at the time). Between me and the previous owner the rear end and drive shaft have been replaced, and the throttle body has been swapped for the V8 TB. I plan on eventually completely changing the drivetrain (gonna swap a V8 in of course and get rid of the auto for a manual) and replace the previous ownser 2/3 drop with bags (in hopes that it'll smooth the ride out).
