Hey, greetings from Canada. I own a 97 ram 1500 4x4 wiyh a 5' lift.

Could some one tell me What would be involved in swaping the 318 for a 360. Is it easier to fing a complete engine or can I use a 360 block and heads reuse the intake and throtlebody from the 318 and reprograme the computer? Also cool site, tones of stuff here.

Hello, I'm a new member but long time reader. Just found the site a while back and spent a couple of months reading from the beginning. I've had my current truck since 1998, but have owned Dodge trucks or cars since high school. Have already learned quite a lot from this forum. I have been doing mods on the truck since I purchased it, but haven't really done much to the engine. Used to think "if it aint broken, leave it alone" but now I'm getting to the point if it aint broken, break it and make it better! Just spent a month working on the truck's exterior and interior and will be doing some engine mods come October. Waiting for the Fastman TB and the new alum. Plenum to arrive. I didn't even know about the plenum problem until I started reading this forum. Anyway, thanks for the great forum and hope I can help out now an then when needed.

Hi ,My wife's daily driver is 00' Durango. I have a 74 Super Beetle that I drive daily. I also own a 96 fullsize Dodge conversion van. I need to change a the water pump and fix an oil pressure problem. Both the Dodges have been very good to me.
I live in the Great Northwest. I retired from the Marine Corps in 2001. I have a son serving in the Air Force and two more kids at home. I work with a bunch of guys that own Dodges. Most of them are 2500 deisel owners and one guy owns two from 1950, a car and a truck. So I'm surrounded by Dodges. I look forward to learning lots of good stuff here.
Thanks

Hi. This forum seems to be very interesting. I have been looking for a good pickup for months and this afternoon it should be the end of my search. It is a RAM 2500 V10 1996.
I dont have time to search and read the posts because I will check it this afternoon
Some friends tell me "that beast drinks too much, the auto trans has many problems, etc". But it must have good points too. I like the cabin and the way it drives. Any advice as what to carefully check before I buy ? Thank you for your help.
