New to the forum. Just purchased a '98 Dodge Ram Van (shorty) - unbelievable good condition - V6, to replace my 1980 B100 shorty van which expired about 10 yrs ago due to rust. It's been awhile but I'm a "vanman" again. Sure feels good.

Newbie, Name, Robert 40, own a 2004 1500 4.7 V8. looks and drives like a 2008. had a flow master, dual install for $350.00 and want to improve the sound system. has a nice Alpine with stock speakers. Maybe 10 or 12 under the rear seats. joining for information regarding this and other things related to Dodge. The only picture I have shown was taken after working on a fence at mom's house. I'm retired Law enforcement and planning a return to reg. ARMY for a little fun and training in OCT. after my over 40 physical in Tampa. That's about it. Don't know much about engines but if anyone has a Law question feel free. everyone else does. Bobby.

Hi, I will kind of introduce here, I am going on 50 years old, less that 4 months and that means I have owned everything at one time or another. I worked at salvage yards for more than 10 years when younger. I loved that job.
I was raised in Michigan, Detroit area and now live in Tennessee. I drive a truck for a living and got to admit the new Dodge Ram took a while to grow on me but now I really check them out. I have two Rams, a old 1991 ram 150 and a 2000 ram 1500.
I like reading more than asking questions and I have a lot of them but usually find the answers in the reading. Being on the go all the time makes it hard to get back with someone even if it is to thank them but I do get around to it. I have registered before today but not got to post at all. I hope everyone has a wonderful labor day weekend...
