Hello everybody, I am a self employed mechanic from Axtell,Texas. Just stumbled across yalls forum so I thought I would join. I have a 1996 Dodge 3500 single cab dually with the 12 valve Cummins & automatic trans. Normally we pull our 28' enclosed race car trailer, but we just took it on a 3,264 mile trip from Texas to Wyoming. Left with nearly 241,000 miles & came back with a little over 244,00 on it now. Used no oil & did not give us any trouble at all.Aaveraged 19.8 mpg, it will get 22 mpg empty if your not in the mountains. I live in Texas but if there is anyone on here from Wyoming yall sure have some outstanding scenery.

Hi Everyone,
Sorry, I thought I had introduced myself when I registered here.

I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab SLT. I joined this forum to get help with maintaining it and getting information on problems it might have so I can bring it to the mechanic and let him know exactly what's wrong with it and get the problem (and only that problem) fixed. I know nothing about fixing the truck but I like learning about it!! Sometimes (as in my recent post), I don't always explain my problem in a language that's understandable to car folks but I do my best. It's great when people reply and ask me questions about the problem then I do my best to answer. Have patience with me, ok? I really need the help and info from the "EXPERTS" and I really APPRECIATE any and I don't take it for granted!! I'm on here all the time looking up info on my truck and I've learned alot. Thanks, everybody!!

Laurie

Hey Crew, I have a 1987 Dodge Ram Extended Van. It has a 318 cu", with a 1 brl carb, it's an auto. It only goes 84 mph & I want to stabilize the suspension with air shocks & firm shocks in the front. I want to boost the motor. I need a voltage regulator right now & don't know where to get it. So if anybody has any ideas where I can get the info I need Please help. Majority of the work I will do myself. Thanks I appreciate it.
