v10 ram

Default v10 ram

Ii nd help,I bought a ram 3500 with v10 ..it was in a flood...I turn the key n no power,no dash light nuttn..I draind oil out of the motor n tranny..:took pluggs out and its oil in the holes where they go...put my main concern its no power at turn of key: can any one direckt me..please...I tried to turn motor n I could not...I pulled oil drain plugg water came out first then oil...truck was n sandy storm..juss flooded not runnin in water

Batt was cool took it out my running car,changed fuses too

Sometimes a car battery is not enough to crank over a big ol V10. You need a battery that was meant for your truck. If the original battery is toast, get a new one and go from there.

but the dash lights head light or nothing came on..ok I'll try what u said,however..when I first saw the truck posative cabble was of it..I put it on juss to c what would happend and it did make asound like key was turned halfway.. but that was that cuse old batt died..I put batt frm my mercedes inthe ram..and nothing came on,the batt starts the mercedes every day..but one question folks...would the fuse box short out from getting wet?

If it was in a flood no telling what it could be. Did the PCM get wet? Is it your truck or did you buy it after it was in the flood?

Bought it after it was. Flooded pcm is the computer under the hood correct??.. I think it got wet also..
