Hello yall from the flat state of Nebraska LOL. I currently have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport Quad Cab 4x4 Offroad, 5.9 V-8, auto trans.
I actually came across this site in my search to see what trans my truck has since it went tango uniform on me lastnight on the way back from picking my wife up at the airport.
Once I get it fixed do yall have any suggestions to keep this from happening again?

Welcome to DF! You will want to check out the 2nd gen Ram section. There you will find all your answers. But, riddle me this first: what you mean by "tango uniform"? I'm not familiar with the military lingo.....

"Tango Uniform" or, TU, colloquially know as "**** Up"...... (we'll see how censored that gets.

Check out PATC, get one of their Mega Vipers (around 2500 bucks...) and never have to worry about your trans again.

ahh...all I know is fubar....lol
