Hi thanks for letting me join the group. A friend of mine has a 2001 Chrysler 300 M and he needs a floor shift transmission cable for it. We have searched high and low for one with no luck. do any of you guys out there know where a guy could get a cable? My friend bought the car like a month ago and then the cable broke and he is without a car now because of it. I believe 1999 to 2001 300m , Intrepid , and possibly Concord with floor shift will fit it. Any and all help is appreciated thank you in advance.

 

Need to get the correct part number from the dealer, then google that. Seems there are four different possibilities..... depending on your vin.

 

Yes but none are available. The dealer has discontinued it. The part number is 4593215AK.

 

Head over to Rock Auto and Ebay. I've gotten some really hard to find parts there.

 

If it was a column shift they have it but nobody has a floor shift cable. I have been to both sites.

 

Car-Part.com. It appears that the used market is going to be your only alternative.

 

Might check out a dedicated 300m Facebook group or forum. There are a few out there.

 

If you got it I would like to know from where cause I need one
