GM CEO told to quit!!
The Malibu has no style. Looks like the perfect rental car. Very bland.
Every Caddy has the same front end and they all suffer from the classic GM wiring issues in one way or another. Especially the rear lighting.
How can GM say that they have the best powertrain warranty available @ 5 years 100,000 miles when KIA offers a 10 yr 100K and Chrysler is lifetime?? Sounds like false advertising to me.

As for the front ends of Caddies, all automakers are going to start using the same grill on all their models. I'm sure you've seen this happening already (look at Toyota, Dodge and Ford cars).
I also do not like the government saying you are out (just to get money basically). That is, in a form, bribery.
With that said the CEO takes the heat in the bad times and the praise in the good times. He should have saw this coming and made a plan. The businesses that are keeping their heads above water took the steps needed, GM did not, or Chrysler for that matter.

Besides, as was states earlier, GM and Chrysler went to the government for money. The government didn't force the money down their throats. (Quite to the contrary, the government was hesitant to give them any money at all!)
If you go to the government for money, everyone knows you will have to deal with stipulations and legal crap. Anyone who thinks otherwise is, well, dumb.

Really? I think the Malibu is the classiest looking car in its class. It's nowhere near bland, except maybe its tail end.

There is WAY too much safety crap being put on their vehicles right now.
The govenors on the trucks, tahoes, suburbans, and avies have all been set to 95. Granted most people well never have a need to go that fast, but to a person that was raised on a race track.... this is unacceptable.
on our 08 avie, you can manually shift them, at or around 4500-5000 grand, they will shift automatically.
These trucks are a dog from the factory, and I feel sorry for anybody that ever finds them selves in a head on collision while driving these trucks.
A few weeks ago, I was sitting at a stop light waiting for green, when this 09 black LTZ avie comes rolling up behind me. I assumed he was running around 15- 20 MPH at the time. I assumed he would stop, and I never worried about it. Apparently the gentleman behind the wheel didn't see this BIG RED AND CHROME truck sitting in front of him, so he hit me.
I have a huge after market bumper installed on my truck.
When he hit me (it didnt even feel that bad) I immediately jump out of my truck to see what the hell had happened.
Once the old man and I decided that we should maybe get this little accident off the road and go over to a parking lot to assess the damage. I found out just how chitty the front ends on these trucks are.
The front frame was bent, radiator completely bent back into the motor, the top support rail completely obliterated, and a bent wheel.
And might I add, I didnt even have a scratch or any evidence of paint transfer.
I kinda felt sorry for the old man, since he was just out test driving the avie, but I think after the whole ordeal (and after he emptied his pants out, because of the air bag deploy) he decided to go with another brand of truck.
So no, I dont think GM builds a very good vehicle right now. I also dont think any of them are very attractive.
