Finally!
Maybe NOW they can come up with some better ideas for cars that work and are easy to work on in case of problems.

While I agree it's probably better for GM that Wagoner go I don't like the precedent this sets politically...

This is not good!!! When Lee Iacoca (sp) borrowed money from the Feds, in the 80's, they did not make him quit!!! They let him work through the prob. & pay the money back sooner than promised! Anybody who thinks Wagoner is the prob. @ G.M., does'nt know what is really going on!

Are you KIDDING me? More government involvement means that a bunch of politicians (who couldnt find their hoodlatch if their life depended on it) will have more control and will start dictating what the auto industry is gonna have to do. You think these electric and hybrid cars are designed for people who want to work on thier own cars? No, theyre for people who look at a vehicle purchase no different than buying a microwave.

The best thing the big 3 could possibly do is tell the government to stick their bailout money where the sun dont shine and instead back off all of the stupid mandates and regulations outside of things that we all pretty much agree are common sense--standard seatbelts, no gas tanks right behind a flimsy bumper, etc. Personally I think they should all just threaten to shut down if the feds dont back off. They want to control everything? Fine. You support all the thousands of now unemployed workers. Need new cop cars? Tough. Try chasing criminals in a Prius. Let it all crumble down to nothing, then just rebuild from there.

It's not as if the government is forcefully intervening. The automakers wanted it. But as with everything, there are drawbacks. GM gave the power to the government to fire Wagoner. That doesn't sound like Communism to me.

They wanted to show that big changes were taking place at GM. Firing Rick was od that big change because the media unfairly blames him for GM's failures. He was the sacrifice.

Guess you all don't get the idea. Our government is f..... The rest of the world can see right through our government but we can't because we are blinded by the news....games...entertainment and what not. You might think this is some conspiracy but it's not. They have been doing this for years. Blaming attacks on terrorism? Thinking terrorism only comes from the mid-east? Think again.

Definition of Terror - an instance or cause of intense fear or anxiety; quality of causing terror.

Our government is full of very smart people and cocky people with power is a force not to reckoned with. Just wait to see what they have in store for us. North American Union making the Amero. Micro chips in dogs. Then humans and upgrading to hold your finances. Cars becoming electric. Is just a small step towards there non patriotic process.

For all who are curious. Take a look at the movie Zeitgeist. Seems phony but it's very very imformative....
