Who the hell is this guy???? I don't consider losing by 3 cars a massacre, but whatever.

BTW, I beat another one this weekend, he was trying to beat me to a lane merge. I was in the right, he was in the left. The road merges from two lanes into just the right. He sudenly punches, and got a fender on me, but I caught him midway through second and passed him. We got in it from about 30ish, and when I let out at 75, I only had him by maybe 1 1/2 cars.

But if it makes you guys feel any better, I raced an '06 GTO 6MT w/ JBA headers, exhaust, and Diablo Predator 93 tune, and from 40 to 125ish, he beat me by 5 cars. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.....[&:]

Eh yanno, a manual tranny 350Z will smoke an auto 5.7L Magnum every day of the week.... and I dont care how you argue it.......

The Magnum is the slowest of the LX cars to start with, and the fact that its an auto makes it even worse. Is the Hemi motor capable of awesome power? Sure it is....but even in the SRT-8 model, the Magnum is still a mid 13 sec car.....and the 5.7L is like a low 14 second car....

Bottom line: I've seen enough BS from Dodge owners on this site to fill the entire forum over......and the truth of it is this....he didnt bash anyone, he didnt make fun of anyone, and he wasnt startin ****..... so I think everyone needs to take a damn chill pill...

I'm not sure if I posted it but the air at the time was around 5300ft.
Corrected et is high 12's at sea level.
I've driven both and I'm positive the SRT-6 is faster both in acceleration and on a closed course.

 

ive not seen many SRT6s at the track, but ive never seen one, stock, in the 12s....ive actually never seen one modded in the 12s either, but i dont know that ive ever seen one with any work done to it.

james, if you dont mind my asking, did you get a good deal on it? i would imagine that you did, as they arent making new ones anymore.

 

I got mine for 27 but I wish I had shopped around since I found one for 25 on ebay.
I think the fastest stock one has gone 13.04 @ 108.
That is low 12 territory if they had better gearing.
