Who will Dale JR drive for next year?
I said this to a co-worker as soon as Dale announced he was leaving DEI........and I'll say it again.....he's going to drive for Hendricks...
Why? What other team offers him the absolute best chance to win? Hendricks.....plain and simple. He can drive with 2 Cup Champs, and get the support he's lacked at DEI since his father died.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. apparently will join forces with NASCAR's most successful team.
Earnhardt is set to announce his intention to join Hendrick Motorsports in 2008, PA SportsTicker learned Tuesday from an anonymous source with knowledge of the negotiations.
NASCAR's most popular driver, Earnhardt has scheduled a news conference for Wednesday at 11 a.m. EDT, when he will officially announce his intentions for next season.
Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the source said that Earnhardt will drive the Hendrick Motorsports No. 25 Chevrolet, which is currently piloted by Casey Mears. Consequently, Mears will replace Kyle Busch as the driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet.

Yay, now annoying Jr fans will be forced to like his TEAMMATE Jeff Gordon, who kicks his ***.

I think it`ll be a pretty good team now that he is with hendrick motorsports. As hendrick/earnhardt was talking the sponsor thing is still up in the air, i think that bud should be grandfathered in into hendrick.Heres how i was figuring it out, if busch goes to DEI the kellogs sponsor should go with him and budweiser stay with jr.Then jr take the 25 back and mears take the 5 and put his sponsor in the 5 and bud back in the 25 and busch take the 8 for kellogs. But 08 will be a great and interesting year for nascar, but i know they stated there wont be any rivals but having 3 big name people under 1 roof may be a bit bad cause you got 2 champions already and a 3rd person as hungry for a championship as ever.So hopefully they will work better as teammates then just as drivers.I may catch some slack for this but i know alot of people dont like gordon cause of the way he talks and whatever, but the reason he is like that is because he loves to race and he is just like anyone else that hates to lose, but to me he is the best current active driver out there today. When he was just starting to race in 93 my folks went to louden NH to watch the race and durning the morning they had tents for all the drivers to have breakfeast with, and at the time SR. had the most fans and gordon had maybe 40 fans in his tent.My folk sat down with gordon and had a 1 on 1 conversation with him while eating breakfest and he personally thanked them and since my father company sponsored his car(dupont) they never missed a race in NH.Since then we all been loyal gordon fans and to see jr now come to hendrick motorsports the stable has thoroughbreds.
