It's funny you mentioning chases, the last time I thought I was going to get chased was back in 84' when I had just built my 73 Olds Delta 88.
I was cruising loop 410 with my brother and showing off the top end power of the 455 at about 2am when I crested the hill and on the other side was a patrol car in the middle lane!
I was doing about 130 and I guess he decided that he'd probably scrape or pick up the pieces down the road since he didn't even give chase!
Boy was that a lucky one[:-]
