1/4 mile times for your ride
I have the 340 for the Demon but the Cuda will have a .030 over 440 block with a 4.25 crank.
It's already together but I'm having trouble with the crank since I was going to run a 727 but the snout of the converter doesn't fit. It's going to have to be machined out to accept the converter snout. I could get an adapter plate and run a glide but no way am I going to run a glide in my Mopar. I like to keep my Mopars all Mopar and Chevies all chevy etc...

That too would be nice. Imagine, like I have may times, of taking it down the street and have some ricer thinks he's big sh*t thinking he's gonna dust this little older Mopar FWD 4 banger and watch his face as he hears the V8 as you blow his doors off.
Orochi, I would take more weight out but it is a Roadrunner so I don't want to screw it up.
It would be nice to put the engine in something lighter though, If my car were the weight of your Datsun, 1800#, it would be 1.9 seconds faster or so, and if you factor in the altidude another .3 for Sears point, I'd be at 9.58!
