1/4 mile times for your ride
Orochi, if you look in the off topic forum where my Mopars at the Strip post got moved to, you will notice the Drag Lites on my car. Thanks for the advice though!LOL
I'm going to try and speed it up by reducing rotating losses, like going to the thinnest synthetic oil and tranny fluid, and putting the Dominator on and my Street Dominator intake, playing more with the timing and getting some new drag shocks and Cal Tracs, maybe remove the exhaust too. I haven't really tested much since I was bracket racing.
I set the timing around 36 degrees and left it alone. I think I have another .3 in it so
I'll keep you posted when I get into the mid 11's.
71 RR, thanks but I decided to go the cheap route with Draglites, I just have to be careful around corners. If I really wanted to go all out, I would buy Bogarts.

My 66 Coronet runs 13.0's at 106 mph here in Phoenix AZ in the WARM weather. My 69 440 HP motor runs the 284 / 484 Mopar hyd cam, 9.7 to 1 compression, forged TRW flat top piston's, 750 Holley carb, Mopar HP cast iron exhaust manifolds, (as used on the 69 Road Runner's) 3" exhaust and turbo mufflers, 3.91 gear ratio and Sure-Grip in my 8 3/4 rear end and 26 x 10.5 x 15 Mickey Tnompson Sportsman Pro drag radials. I don't know the exact weight of the car, but I would guess at least 3800 pounds as it's all steel and has the VERY heavy power windows, so I'm pretty happy with it as it is a happy camper on both the track and the street! It runs on 92 octane Chevron pump gas also. I retired it from racing back in 1997 and is now driven on the street occasionally. The first picture below is in race trim and the second is as it appears today in street trim.
