I'll have to agree. My Viper posted over 2.0 on the 60'. Yes its stock, and yes I'm having serious traction problems...however I have never seen a light-in-the-*** truck actually run those speeds in person so I am no authority on this matter at all.

 

First off, I said I believe, because I was just doing a quick reply, but I know i'm pretty close. It is not that uncommon to see these trucks running these numbers. I may be wrong on the 60' time, but I do know the slicks made a big difference.

i dont think that theyre unrealistic...i pull 1.68-1.73 60s regularly...and run the same times that he is claiming...

on the other hand, 12.10 @ 96 mph...thats a but weird

 

Strat, I'm sorry but he made no mention of a performance converter, none!
It would take so much bottom end torque to pull a 1.65 60ft time with a stock converter that he would have to be either very,very light, or have a BIG engine or BIG boost or a TON of gear. I'm not saying he's going to spin, just the opposite, it going to bog.
Sorry, but it aint going to happen with his set-up, Imagine what your 60' would be with a stock converter, like 1.9's if that.

By the way, I ran 12.10 at 91mph hard on the brakes at the stripe in a bracket race.
I dialed a 12.25 (sandbagging) and he had a good light and we were both sandbagging,
he only broke out a little 12.19 on a 12.20. He had a .003 light compared to my .036.

Moparman-Just so you know, I had a full page response to your thread, but after reading it, I did not want you or anyone else to take offense to it. If you go through the threads you will see that I stated that I was not sure of the exact times, just giving estimates. I will retrack everything I said to calm you down. From now on, I drive a stock Lightning. I run 13.8 @ 99mph and have a 2.2 60' time. I am not here to argue. My intentions of joining this site was to get some info on the Hemi Ram and peek in on some 300c threads, that was it.
