Another phony caution?!?
Late in the race, a Dodge is leading, A fan favorite in a Chevy is about to go a lap down, and sure enough NASCAR throws the caution for a piece of "spring rubber" no one else but The NASCAR officials can see![:@]
Still not convinced of a conspiracy against Dodge?

RE: Another phony caution?!?
I don't think there's a conspiracy. I mean, 2 Chevy's, 5 Fords, 3 Dodge's.
However, I do find it quite satisfying to see a Chevy on top yet again!
I honestly dont think that any other team will truly dominate like Chevy has until the go back to a more traditional coupe class car. Granted, there are modifications made for every car to balance them, but I truly think the Monte Carlo is the best in the biz right now.
It's record over the last 15 yrs alone says it all......what is that....like 8-10 championships...

I wonder when NASCAR will let us alter the nose of the Charger?

RE: Another phony caution?!?
If it wasn't trash on the track, someone would have spun out at "convienent" time. Even the announcers admitted some of the drivers were prepared to do that or at least get close up behind another car and take the air off of it causing it to spin out....

RE: Another phony caution?!?
It's because of Toyota.
ASSCAR wants to force as many Dodge teams to jump to the Jap make as they can, so theyre making it clear the Dodge isnt welcome in the sport.
So far only Dodge teams like Davis, Ganassi, and maybe Penske are said to be going to Toyota.
NASCAR wants to bring in Toyota without losing any of their beloved Chebbies!

NASCAR is going to have to fix the "spoiler" rule. With so little downforce available to the rear of the car under the current rules, is it any wonder that during the last season they had a record number of wrecks/spinouts? The teams try to run softer tires to compensate, and the tires get eaten up by the track and blow out, causing even more trouble....wake up, NASCAR!!!!!!!!![:@]
