05srt4 vs. 96 mustang cobra

"Terminator" Cobra's are flippin fast...nobody beats them! As for the SRT-4 beating the '97 S/C Cobra...whatever. Just leave him alone...he knows what happened. Theres no use telling him what he can't beat...only he and the Cobra know what REALLY happened. good kill man!

alot of people are...even ive beaten a few of them...alot of people dont understand that buying a 390hp car and putting a buch more power under it doesnt always make it a faster 1/4 car...
the good driver mod must be the most expensive to them...

LOL. I like going to our midnight mayhem from time to time. It's mostly "street racers" and they cant cut a light to save their life, and I could make a sandwich between some of their gear shifts.
i went to "fast and the furious night" a couple years back...and my car running 16.20s qualified in the stock V6 class...i went rounds on a HEADS UP TREE because the lights were so awful..i ended up losing to a guy whom i know with a built M3...who races often...

wow, you dont say that your built drag car will beat a stock ford cobra....wow, who'd a thunk it

and runs 11's. It is not a drag car, there is no cage, it has full interior and I drive it on the street and it's no lightweight at 3700 pounds.
The person that posted stated that "NOBODY" beats them (Terminator Cobras). I see them trounced on a regular basis at the track, and I want to make it known that it is easy and inexpensive, if you know how. Badstrat casts them aside on a regular basis with his smallblock Mirada without any nitrous or supercharging.
Heck I see much faster 80's and 90's Mustangs at the PSCA (Pacific Street Car Association)races that come to town.
So yeah, ANY new production car under $100,000 can't match my cars 1/4 mile performance.
I am happy with that since I only have about 12 grand total in the car and it runs on all throttle no bottle.
I ran 11.48 here so that's about 11.18 at sea level.
my car is also capable of beating terminators, and my car is an NA, 3700lb car, running on 87 octane...and my entire setup cost less than a 2.2 KB swap...
i would like to think that my car is faster now, but that stands to be proven.

Hey mopar...why not just throw a 250 shot of nos on there and say no stock car under 1 billion dollars can beat my car?
11.4...thats pretty nasty for a street car.
For the record: 03-04 cobra 370-380 horse @ the wheels. Crappy driver 13.0 good driver low twelves. How do I know. I run a 12.5 and I have been beaten by stock 03's at the track who have pulled in 12.4's
Everything can be chalked up tp "driver error" when it comes to slow times...but thats the point of haveing a FAST car...no matter who is driving it should be fast. If you have to get a perfect launch..hit perfect gears...get perfect traction...to run low 13's...you should probably invest somemore money into your car.
Oh... and a stock 96 mustang cobra ran 14.1's.

I do have to make one comment though...11.4 @ 118???? What do you do when you get 3/4's of the way down the track...throw out an anchor? I am chipping 116 @ 12.5. Either you are bs'ing it..or you have drag radials and are bouncing off the limiter half way down the track haha
RRRR matey...mr collin's you swab the deck...mr tarkins get ready with the anchor matey....

SS, something like 11.40@118 isnt that uncommon...i ran 12.60-12.70 @ 102-104...
for 116 on a 12.50, you must have what, like 1.8-1.9 short times, maybe a little worse? im guessing with those times that youre running an ellis juan? [8D]
