SRT-4 vs GTO vs 350Z vs Mustang vs S2000
This $21,000 car can run with the best of them. And for the price you get 2 more doors and the same performance. Who here thinks this car would be a better choice than the cars mentioned?
I've already beat a handful of 'stangs and a 350Z....no contest there.....[sm=smiley20.gif]
I've taken Stangs on and won... not Cobra's though
I almost bought a Stang, and the SRT won me over once I drove it...
I think a GTO would take a stock SRT... but it would be a good fight... and for the money, you can't really beat the SRT in my opinion...

The GTO has the same stats: 0-60 in 5.3 and a quarter mile in 13.9. (from Car and Driver). I have one question though, why was this locked?
i was very near buying an SRT, and it was the above mentioned extra doors that kept me from buying it. if i want to haul people, ill put them in the backseat of my 2 door car.
i wouldnt own a mustang, or that awful, awful holden, period.
the 350z is a nice car, but in a whole different class. it is a luxury car, that goes fast. i just would never compare it to the srt.
the S2000, i would compare that, while in a different price class, to be the same area perf wise, but i woudl go with the SRt al the way...honduhs are just beat. ive driven one, and it screams, but i just wouldntpay for a honduh.
also, a stage 2 srt should have NO problem with the holden or the cobra, especially if the holden is an auto.. a stock cobra is good for 13.60s (02 and back), and ive seen a stage 1 srt run 12.90s, relatively stock.
so i guess, for the money, and out of that group, id own the SRt...if money wasnt an issue, it would be a 350z TrackMod ragtop.
and with this new job at th dealership, the SRt still isnt out of the question, just have to find someone to buy the RT.

hey man, i wasnt tryign to talk trash with my post...just my opinion...
what i meant to say..if you put the 350z next to those other cars, it is a luxury car. they only come loaded, with the exception of the trackmod that has some lux items pulled out.

Gotcha.
And you're right, the Nissan seem like luxury to these cars, except for maybe the GTO. Oh, and please dont think I was trying to bring you down, I was just explaining why I chose the Nissan in this and why it could be compared to the SRT-4.

actually, the new Z is one of the few cars i wish i would have waited for rather than buying my RT. that, and the unfortunately 4-doored srt.
