Im sorry but the v6 accord especially the coupe will beat you stock for stock. The 03-06 accord with the mtx go to 60 in 5.8 secs the gts of your generation do it in the sixes. you shouldve held out for the 05 gt cuz they have ballz and can beat an accord lol

 

I am sure you will race anyone of us, doesn't mean you will "beat" anyone of us. I live close to Vegas........

a stock 04 GT...well driven, can find times in the mid 14s...provided good traction.

an 05-05 accord V6 with a manual trans...should run about the same times...

I'll agree that most of the Cobra bashing going on in here is ***** envy or done by people who are simply tired of "some" Cobra owners jackass attitudes. The same applies to "some" SRT-4 owners...who think since they are in a SRT-4....can beat anything on the street....Again, that's not all owners...but I'm sure we can all agree that every "fast" car has owners like that. Most however are V8 owners...

As for the SRT-4 being labeled rice....I can see why....its an American version of a Nissan/Honda Ricer....and that's something to be ashamed of? The 300ZX and Accords have been labeled rice forever....and I'd take the Z over the SRT-4 anyday...

Rice = a car with non functional parts made to look super fast and a fartcan to boot....these cars generally are just stock cars made to look like they're something out of fast and the furious..look fast....but are really slow...

 

i will say that MANY of the cobra owners who i have met were complete jackasses...and 04GT would probably back that up if he has been at MF very long...

however, there are also some guys at MF who are good, humble guys...

the guys who buy them, know nothing about cars, but suddenly act like they have been racing their whole lives are the ones who give mustang owners a bad rep...the same thing happens ALOT with srt4 owners.

there is a kid at MF lately who has stage 2, and runs 13.60s...and runs his mouth about how fast it is..running as fast with stage 2 as some have gotten with stage 1, or a very stripped out stage 0.

I can pull information out of my a** to. how do the new gt's do 0 to 60 in 5.1 mtx wen ur mustang which has 40 less hp then the new 1s, supposedly do around the same time.
