0-60 means nothing...its an arbitrary number given to the car by magazine editors, and there is no reliable way to test it...on the other hand, there are reliable ways to test 1/4 time...and the 04 GT should be a damn close race with an accord.

i will say that MANY of the cobra owners who i have met were complete jackasses...and 04GT would probably back that up if he has been at MF very long...
I had a 93 Cobra up until it was sold a few months ago and I agree most Cobra owners are jackasses, I am in fact an ***.

Yes, unfortunately most Cobra owners are jackasses. Any random guy that can dish out $30k for a car does not suddenly become a great driver, and knowledgable about cars. It just isin't that simple. My bestfriend has an 04 Cobra vert, and he is an idiot to be completely honest. He thinks he knows everything about cars there is to know. He does not.

A good driver in a 99-04 GT is Evan Smith. He is a MuscleMustangs&FastFords magazine editor. He drove a BONE STOCK 03 GT to a 13.9XX. That is a good driver.

What a lot of you are overlooking when it comes to a drag race between these cars is torque. In Car and Driver there is a TT RX8. It has 390hp and only 290lb/tq. You would think that a car with that much hp, and that light would be low 12's? Try 13.7. I can do better than that right now with my car. Torque plays a big factor in drag racing. I am trying to be open minded, but I still dont think it would be that close.

I would bet my paycheck against a v6 accord....any day. Liek I said, I live in Vegas, and will race any of you, anytime...

I live in Henderson, I'll be at the track Friday if not Saturday. In fact I'll race you in my truck, since I'm doing some prep work on the Roadrunner for a new paint job.
Maybe you can help me pay for the work. I'll be in a light blue 1951 Pickup.
Unless of course you are too scared to lose money to one of us "idiots".
Whats an Airmans paycheck up to nowadays? $1200? I dont have a V6 Accord, but I think I can take you in my Truck, that is, if you aren't too scared.
The truck is naturally aspirated, has a 400 smallblock, and only a two speed powerglide automatic.
I guess I haven't noticed your car at the track yet, an orange pinto shouldn't be too hard to notice.
P.S. Why are you camped out so hard on Evan Smiths sack?

LOL, hey man, just so I don't get confused here, I get counseled for being too harsh after he calls people idiots, however truthful, and challenges everyone on the site to a race, and uses profanity, and you, mr. hypocrit, call people jackasses and threaten to crash people off the road because they want to pass you? Allrighty then. LMFAO!
Can you define keeping it clean? Thanks.
