i was drivin home form my buddies house in downtown Pittsburgh the other night and a long stretch of highway leads into the tunnel that takes you to the burbs. it was around midnight, and i was pretty much the only car on the street...i suddenly see the lights come flying up behind me, so fearing it was a police, i slowed down. wel they fly past, i was runnin around 60, and 3 of them passed me while wheelie-ing. so i eased into it...i caught up to them, around 85 or so, and got into it, i passed them, and a they moved to a sort of fighter position, with one on each side of me, and one in front. i accelerated to about 140, with them staying right with me, and all at once, i could hear al of them downshift and crack into the throttle, and drive away like i was parked.

damn, i need a bike...

Running against crotch rockets in anything that doesn't require a full cage is pointless, you'll never win unless they wreck or don't know what they're doing.

 

ur only 17 right just hold off on getting one until your 18 then youll live to see your 18th birthday but i want one to i forget what kind it is but one of my buddies uncles has a bike thatl do 0-60 in first gear an it onlf takes like 2.5 seconds that crazy and it will do over 200

 

I love that feeling of exceleration and screaming by vehicles like they are standing still. WHAT A RUSH.

And just because I am partial to Yamaha, GO WITH THE R6. .

 

Sound like either a Ninja ZX12R or a Hayabusa, both are about equal turning the 1/4 mile in roughly mid 9's at around 145 MPH.

 

I can see that. The Hayabusa is 1300cc so not much more and the ZX12 is lighter. And now that Kawasucky and Susucky are the same company, wouldn't surprise me if the engine block is the same and the electronics

 

the bike a was talking about is a honda cbr 1100cc blackbird it does 0-60 in 2.9 seconds so i was a little off there and ittl do a lil over 200 mph

 

I am partial to Yamaha too! The new ZX10, is running 7.5 in the 1/4 @ 164!!!! HOLY HELL!
