i love to go drifting in the rain and snow. i was just wondering who else does this.
The straightest line possible is the fastest way around a corner.
Sliding around a parking lot doing donuts is not a true drift.

PS that me passing on the inside.
Fixed. Drifting turns only works on dirt racing and rally racing. If you take your Viper GTS-R drifting around every turn at LeMans, you're gonna get your @ss handed to you on a silver platter.

Hey Captain Squalas... Ive been thinking more about this, and realize that every style of racing has its own technique. It's true that in Formula 1, the fastest way around a corner is to have maximum traction, BUT, that doesnt make the theory of sliding in Sprint Car racing any less true. If all styles of racing depended on the same theory there wouldnt be any excitement.

Nascar, WRC, F1, Sprint Car, etc.... are all interesting because they are differeent in unique in some way. The physics between involved is different, resulting in different required driving styles.

rally racing has nothing to do with snow...neither does drifting in the 'sport' form, as it has become popular.

drifting between rows of parked cars in what?
