Rear end is junk should I get a whole new rear axle or pay $800 for new front and rear gears? and I say front and rear cuz I'm upgrading to 4.56s good idea or what gearing would be best for daily road driving no towing no offroading?
IMO, 4.56 would not be good for daily driving unless you got huge tires. Get a junk yard rear end and just swap it out.
I have 35's and everyone tells me to swap it out with junkyard rear end but how will I know the rear ends good unless I we're open up the pumpkin and if it's messed up I'll just have to buy the gear and pinion anyways right?
Thats a loaded question. Increasing power and increasing gas mileage do not go together. Best thing is to tune it up, make sure the plenum is good first.
