New here
Hi, my name's Joshua. I'm driving the 2010 Dodge Dakota SXT with the 4.7 magnum v8, 4x4 crew cab, just bought it used with 107k miles, was driving the 1997 Dodge Ram SLT Laramie V8 5.9 magnum, rwd for a year or so prior, I'm 20 so it's an upgrade definetly haha that rusty ol dodge. I do have a question,
for the 2010 dakota, is it even still possible to source the Crate N' Go crates for the holder in the back of the cab? I've been looking around on the internet and cant seem to find anything other than pictures- was that the only thing that would fit in that base? Also did anyone find out anything on those Riveted looking Fender Flares? I just tried putting my OEM ones back on after those front black ones kept annoyingly catching on the door so I removed them and discovered that it is very tight in there to try and screw and clip the old ones on Haha, other than that, what other accessories can the dakota rock? I'm an ironworking apprentice and this truck is my new work truck. thank you!

I've looked for the Crate-n-Go crates as well. I bought my truck used and they were missing when I got it. I have yet to find a set to buy. You'll just have to watch eBay and the local junk yards, I guess. In there place, though, I keep a couple of towels and a long set of jumper cables.
There aren't too many fender flares available anymore for the Dakota. Other accessories could be a tailgate spoiler, new radio, auto-dimming mirror (same as the van), LEDs, etc. Peruse the forum. There are plenty of things guys have done. The options aren't as plentiful as they are for some other trucks, but there are options.

My '08 came with the Crate'n'go, unfortunately, the previous owner seems to have kept the small crate, but I have the large one. I love that it folds flat and is always there, out of the way until I need it. I wish I had the small one, because the large one is too big for 4 growlers of beer and they rattle around. The small one would probably be just right. I've been looking for the small one without any luck.

How about upgrades? Is there a sticky thread for any of that? I wanna get myself well knowledged with what aftermarket I can do for it, my Ram was 220000 miles in and just rusted away, not really worth pretty ing up like this guy is, the only issue I have with it so far Is the AC stopped blowing cold and when I tried to see if it needed to be recharged the pressure dial said it was already in the red and pressurized,
does that mean I need a new compressor? and the windshield washer fluid doesn't shoot out, the passenger mirror and passenger door guts have been crud ly glued back together.
