HID Special $60.00 Shipped for Dodgeforum members
Is it true that the HID's dont like being turned on and off, like with the 08 Ram when the daytime running lights are on?
Does the computer chip cancel out the day time running lights??
I know that was a problem with the older HIDs

HI,
The computer special capacitor actually helps the DRL to make it work, but HIDs are NOT recommended for DRL becuase of it's much higher temperature. DRL are meant for halogen and if HIDs are turned on all day and all night, some older model cars housings might melt, so far we haven't got any dodge's happened but only some older model cars like 1980's.
That is why we always recommend to disable the DRL so your bulb and ballast will last longer too.
Thanks!
Michelle

i installed them, they work when they want to...
these absolutly need a relay to work properly. also, the capacitor does not keep the computer from seeing the bulb out problem... i have a code scanner, and even after clearing the dtc's they come right back after turning the lights on.... i can live with that, but not the speratic functionality...

HI Eric,
Per PM to you, I will have my tech diagnose the problem, either your H13 needs relay or the capacitor that was sent to you was defective. If it's the relay, I will have it shipped ASAP on Monday. Thanks!

I have a 2000 ram 1500 2 h/l system, sylvania says its a 9004 bulb, can i get that in bi-xenon in 10,000K? and how much would it cost me? also, what is the difference between the regular ballast, and the slim ballast, other than the obvious? is there a price difference as well?
Hi,
Your bulb type is
High & low beam headlamp
9004
Fog/Driving light
896
Yes you can get bi-xenon for $90 but 10000K is not recommended, because it's blue blue it's actually dimmer, for blue color and being able to see well at night we only recommend up to 8000K (White with light blue tint)
Slim ballast is half the size of course and it's actually a big in higher grade because of the extra money put into the research, so there is a price difference of $15.
If you get bi-xenon slim, the price is $110 after $15off coupon code: fspecial-m

You have to scroll all the way down to choose your bulb type 9004 and the color you want, otherwise it stays as default, also, you need to put "2000 ram 1500" in the comment area when you purchase so we can throw in special capacitor for the lamp out error on your dashboard.
thanks!
