Hi,

You have two choices for the 9004 (hi/lo and bi-xenon)
hi/lo means your low beam is HID and high beam is Halogen because this bulb type has two bulbs in one bulb base to go from low to high beam.
And the bi-xenon means both your low and high beams will be HID.

Here is the link to the 9004 hi/lo ($60 after coupon code: fspecial-m)

Here is the link to the 9004 bi-xenon ($90 after coupon code: fspecial-m)

Thanks!

Do these kits work well even if they are in a stock reflector housing rather than a HID projector housing? I don't want to buy them for a "cool" factor. I want to really improve my lighting at night on highways and back roads.

Does it make the most sense to go with bi-xenon?

I was thinking about going with 5000k.

Does changing the fog lights and headlights to HID's really improve your visibility? I don't want to buy the fog light or headlight kit if I won't really see an improvement.

I'm trying to gauge if upgrading to an HID kit would be helpful instead of spending the money on a bull bar and halogen off road driving lights.

I have a 2005 Dakota SLT.

Hi,

These will definitely be ok on your regular housing as long as your cutoff from the original lights are aimed downward a bit, but this HID kit will definitely improve in seeing the road better and the backroads at night.

5000K is the brightest and closest to HID OEM color in most cars that came with HID headlights.

What is the YR MAKE MODEL in your car? I need to know so I can find out bulb type and if the bi-xenon is an option for you car.
Thanks!
