Maybe it is how or where the DIY installer/person mounts the ballasts...

Side note - my fogs and low beams, from hidextra work great.

 

could be and i would think that they would want to find out the answer, I mean i don't think it is the consumers job to have to figure out how to make their product work properly, that is what we pay the money for.

 

I had my hids installed about 2 months before my sirius subscription ended which I have no intention of reniewing. Its when I started using FM that I found out that the lights mess with radio reception.

If I knew about this issue I would've checked to see if FM worked when they were installed but I never saw a post about it.

Of course I wouldn't have even bought them in the first place if I knew then what I know now.

 

deaddave do you have fm problems? if not how and where did you mount your ballast?

hidextra customer service is greatm their sending me 2 replacement bulbs, and i just have to send them the two i have back, so fix the aiming issue, and the colro issue

well, just ordered my low's and fogs for my sport. ill let ya know how everything goes...

 

I also have FM problems when on. I installed my lows and fogs with the ballasts attached to the frame just behind the headlights. Let me know what happens.
