HID EXTRA if someone buys a set from you and they do cause the radio interference, what is your stance on it?
Do you send them a new set till they get one of the other 98% that don't.
Or do you offer a refund?
Or are they just out the money and have to live with the bad radio reception and or fix it themselves?

Hi,
Sorry but I think you got the % in the wrong area of reference.
The 2% percentage is the amount of people who may get a defect part upon arrival of a kit. but radio interference is not a defect on the ballast. it's a "by car and area specific" meaning the car you drive has to do with if you will get radio interference or the area has lower radio signal. So We don't know who and how many people may have radio interferences until they've installed our product and according to our record since Last August 2009, I have personally had 15 records of such cases. (I believe you've read about this 2 pages back when I explained to you)
Some customers choose to wrap the ballast in foil and it helps, some customer choose to return kit for refund (allowable within 30 days of invoice date) and some customer don't use radio at all so it doesn't bother them.
So the customer has several choices to choose from. This will be my last post about radio interference since I believe I have explained enough about this situation. thank you for your understanding!

my replacement came in today, though its not the same color as my original bulb that came with the kit, thought both state 6000K the new one is nothing but white, where my original has a slight blue tint to it, also the new one shines up in the trees when i switch to my high beams, even on the low beams, its quite high just about into the drivers eyes of on coming traffic. and i know my lens' are correctly aimed because before the replacement both bulbs were perfectly even... any ideas?
Hi,
The color is something that is odd because if you purchased both 6000K, they should be pure white and no blue at all.
Regards to the high beam shooting upward, if this is a hi/lo bulb, you may have to change the polarity to make sure your high beams aren't on when you are on the low beam control. Shoot me an email with your full name and original order # so i can see what we can do to fix this problem. Thanks!

I just sent you an email....
also i dont know if its relavent to the problems im having, but the silver portion(part that sticks out of the headlight housing that wires come out of) of my replacement bulb is loose and feels almost like you could just slide it off...where as my 2 orginal bulbs(working, and diasbled) the silver portion doesnt move at all.
I also forgot to mention, that comepared to my original bulb, the replacement bulb almost looks yellow while driving down the road.
you said that about 2% have this problem. and that it was allowable. so that would leave 98% of your units that don't cause this problem.
ok so you chose to ignore the issue and if within the 30 day period the customer get tired of your product causing the radio interference then they can get a refund. ok
question on the 30 day period (from the invoice date, which could leave the customer with little time once you deduct shipping time if there was a long time from it being invoiced to them receiving it, from that 30 days, to install, try to solve the interferance on their own, seeing as how the 2% is a allowable margin of product error for HIDEXTRA) does that mean you have to have the product in your hands within the 30 days or just it has to have been at the shipping place (post office, UPS, FEDEX.... ETC) by 30 days?

I would not say it was a problem with the area or the truck seeing as how before your lights the radio worked fine in that area.
Simple mechanics say, that if everything works ok and you change something and now it does not, it was from something you did or added (your lights in this case) .
and actually no you have not explained much other then if you get one of the 2% of your products that are allowed to be bad. You have 30 days from the invoice date (if I am wrong that is the date that everything was boxed up, not 30 days from the date of receipt of the product, to get a refund. And that it is up to the customer to have to try and find a remedy to fix your product. (IE wrap it in foil) when that part is your job not theirs, why not go to someone who is having the issues and find a solution for it yourself as the manufacturer or seller of it, it is your product with your name on it, or is that to much to expect from a company to fix what is broken with their products.
I mean other then that, I don't recall any other issues with your products they seem to work well in not flickering or causeing other issues. Why not fix this one that way you can have a great product rather then one that does this.
I don't know I am just saying....
