HI,

The Bi-xenon kit will come with it's own relay so that will bypass the computer.
thanks!

(aside from entering the wrong promo code and only getting $15 off lol) I would prefer they both show up at the same time and this is my only day off this week so I'm trying to get it all wrapped up tonight.

HI,

If you have the H13 bulb types for your 09 Dodge ram, then yes you will be getting 2 bulbs in one bulb base if you take the hi/lo option. If you get the bi-xenon option, you will get one HID bulb that shifts focus points from low beam to high beam.

if you get the hi/lo you will need to request for a special capacitors, if you get the bi-xenon no capacitor is needed. thanks!

We don't have 55w ballast for the following reason

1.) 55w is only 15% brighter than the 33w
2.) because of this brightness, it burns out the bulb and the ballast out faster
3.) 55w is 2-3 times more expensive than the 35w

Therefore it is not worth using or selling the 55w.

See below for ordering instructions

2.) Then go to www.hidextra.com and choose the (BULB TYPE AND COLOR)

3.) Use Express checkout

4.) Input coupon code: springsp-m to get $17 off the kit price
Input coupon code: tenpercentoff-m to get 10% off bulbs only, ballast or accessories

5.) IF you are purchasing more than one kit, please do SEPARATE transactions for EACH kit in order to get discount on all kits.

Any questions, please email me @ info@hidextra.com

What I mean by this is that if the number of incidents don't go above a certain % , in manufacturing cases (2%) of our orders, a change proposal will not be brought up and it will not be approved.

For example, we sell about approx 1000 kits a day, 2% of this number is 20 kits.
If we don't get more than 20 kits having this radio interference each day, the proposal
to make any changes to the ballast (due to radio interference) will be not be approved.

So far since I've worked here with HIDeXtra.com since last August 2009, I've gotten about 15 cases on radio interference issues. This number is not enough to bring up a proposal for research and development department to find out a solution and change the ballast.

Thanks for your understanding!
Thanks for the response Michelle. I understand the business case and financially, it makes sense. It's the same business case the auto manufacturers use to determine if they will make a change to the line based on low recurrence numbers. They even take it a little farther and allow for payoffs for deaths caused by faulty equipment figuring it's cheaper to pay a grieving family off than to spend the money to change the line.

If it's about dollars and cents for hidextra, then it makes sense to apply this approach. I'm amazed that you're moving the number of units that you are. Obviously the approach you're using is paying off. Some companies prefer to place customer satisfaction first and I think they achieve a much more loyal following and a concomitant increase in sales as a result.

Anyway, like I said, I appreciate your taking the time to respond and understand the approach is a based on a business case analysis. It is all about the profit, after all...

Wow, you're equating the evaluation of profitability of a $60 HID kit w/ occasional intermittent interference problems to an auto manufacturer who figures out what a human life is worth?!?! I think you're missing the important distinction between running a business and the wretched decision to put a monetary value on a human life. If it doesn't work for you then why dont you send it back.
