Since my question was ignored in the sale thread, I'll ask it here. Do the relay harnesses come in different lengths for different applications, or do you have just one universal length?

I'm wondering because the capacitors I was provided for my H10 kit (I have the quad headlights) only caused flickering until they finally exploded. I ended up using the old relay harness from an H13 kit I bought previously, but it barely reaches to the passenger side light.

We only have one type of relay. It's the same length for all. Do you need extra capacitor wire harness? please email me at info@hidextra.com

I guess I'll just need to extend it myself. I'll pass on the replacement capacitors. Once a part explodes in my truck, I refuse to install that same part again

I ordered from HIDextra b4 and they are awesome. Got 10000k for heads and fogs. Its nice to have the power of the sun at your fingertips.

However, I am wanting to get a 3rd pair of 3000k for the grill. Is it possible to wire them directly thru a fuse to the battery and sepperate switch??? I just want to make sure this is possible w HIDs.

I'm not sure if you can do that since the kit we have only includes 2 ballasts, 2 bulbs and 2 wire harness. You can wire it with relay harness so it directly receive power from battery but I'm not sure if you can add additional switch for the light.

Ok I recieved my replacement set of bulbs this past weekend. Thank you for that...

Now here is the kicker, I am not sure if i am just getting pure bad luck or what.
Anyhow I performed a removal of the existing bulbs and replacement with the new bulbs.. Installed bulbs, reinstalled headlight housings, double checked all wiring and to make sure the capacitor/resistor wires were red to red black to black etc..... everything was exactly the same as previously installed bulbs... well i go to turn on the lights and nothing... so i turn off the switch and turn on again and all of a sudden i hear a very loud bang and smoke bellowing out of my engine compartment. so i turn everything off, disconnect power pull back out headlight housings to triple check all wiring etc.... Ifeel around and during this the capacitors/resistors or whatever they are.. are extremely hot.. upon closer examination one of them exploded the end right off... I don't know if the new bulbs were incorrect or what . conmsidering the previous bulbs worked flawelessly minus the color difference.... so after reading a few posts i decide to try and run them without the inline part and they still do not work.... so needless to say i am very upset i am so tired of devoting my time and aggravation just to continue to have issues........ but these issues are lasting over a month now..... plus i had to go out and buy a set of stock halogen bulbs just so that i could drive home this evening....... I am at a loss, not sure if i just throw everything in the garbage and walk away or send everything back... I would like to be able to just enjoy my purchase. and enjoy my hid lights....

I had the exact same issue. The capacitors got hot, and one exploded inside my fender. I'd say have them send you a relay harness and be done with it. I did that with mine and they work flawlessly now.

i think you install them in wrong polarity....You have to reverse the positive and negative.

they were wired the exact same way as the set i removed... red to red black to black... i never removed the wires off of the ballasts when i installed the new bulbs... not unless the bulbs themself were wired wrong or reversed then they should be the exact same polarity as the set i took off... not to mention this is the third time i have changed the bulbs due to consistent issues... and it's not that they just didn't come on ,, the inline resistor/capacitor exploded.....
