well, I have been riding around for 3 weeks with my brights while waiting for my new ballist to arrive(1st one lasted little over 1 month). It got here wed. and I installed it yesterday. Installed exactly how it was before, and exactly like the one on the other side(which still works perfectly). As soon as I turned on my lights, the bulb harness attatched to the NEW ballist fried instantly... no light, but plenty of smoke! I removed the whole system and put back my halogens (for the 3rd time!)!!! I am done with these cheap kits, I have bought 2 and had problems with both! They look great when they actually work, but I'm tired of worrying about when/if I will not have lights. I'd ask for a refund, but probably not worth the hassle

 

wow and to think i was getting ready to buy a set of hids....guess ill keep looking.....

 

Wow mine have been working fine for over 6 months now as have my friends...

 

there must be good ones and bad ones or something. I've bought some for my friends an theres worked perfectly. Mine don't. This is the biggest/only problem I have had through HIDextra and i'm really upset. Ever since they came out with these new HIDs.. I emailed and called, 3 times left a message and no reply. I don't what's going here but I'm not liking it.. What so ever, I've tried ever technique to these HIDs and they only strobe in low beam and only work with high beam.. but high beam is as bright as low beam its not bright at all.. Like my wires are backwards

 

I was finally able to get the email, I am sending the information back today for both bulb and ballast.

 

hi guys whos installed the relay harness for the hi/low kit? the link they gave is no good. I tried figuring it out on my own but just couldnt

Just ordered the bixenon H13 for the 2 headlight 2010 ram. Is this setup totally plug n play ? Is polarity reversed? Trying to avoid any flickering or install issues.
