MrCrash, please let us know how you make out, whether your problems were under warrenty and how it was handled. I'm looking to buy HID's but I'm stuck between DDM and HIDEXTRA. Any info will be helpful. Thanks,Ron
Will do. I have not heard back yet. I should be under warranty, but if they need me to mail something to them, I'm just going to save my cash and put it towards a projector retrofit.
Of the two from what I have heard, I'd say go HID Extra if you want budget HIDs.

I ordered my lights today from HIDEXTRA.COM, H11 low beams and H10 fogs. Both in 6000k. I requested any required capacitors/resistors that are needed for a 2010 Dodge Ram as they told me to do in the notes section.
I'll post my results once I get them installed!

Well, I'm gonna be honest. I'm not thrilled so far. I gathered all the information as asked, wrote up a thorough description of the testing I performed, and sent it out. A day later I received a canned response that ignored everything I said, repeated the exact steps I wrote out having done as a testing method they want me to try, and sent me to a website that outlined the warranty and how to submit an rma request. It made me feel as though I needed to decide for myself if I was within my warranty, resend everything with some pictures, and hope for the best. The info on the site was not sensitive by any means, yet it required me to log in to view it for some reason. Lastly, the site I was sent to said I only had a 60 day warranty compared to the 1 year warranty listed on the main site. I'm just going to assume that the main site is correct, and I do have a 1 year warranty.
I responded with a follow-up question immediately after the message arrived (not after I opened my mail and saw it, but right after it initially arrived since my email was open and running at the time), and have not yet received a response. My question was whether or not I needed to rma both bulbs or just the one, since I was told to do both last time to make sure I still have a matched set of bulbs. Please let me know soon. I would like to get this sorted out soon so I can either get my replacements, or order some new bulbs elsewhere.
