Idles but won't accelerate

Idles but won't accelerate
Been working on my 1999 Ram 1500 with 5.2 auto for a few weeks off and on. It idles but when I step on the pedal it will die unless I floor it. When I floor it, it will only rev to 900-1000 rpm.
I have put a new coil, CKS and CPS, plugs, cap and rotor are recent. It ran after these parts were installed and reved up but would not idle. Put in IAC and it idles now but will not rev. I took out the O2 sensors right after the manifolds to see if cat was plugged with no change whatsoever.
Checked TPS with analog meter and voltage increases with throttle opening steady with no jerks or dead spots. No vacuum leaks. Just sounds like a carbed motor that the timing is retarded. I checked the rotor with the marks in the dist and that all came out fine. I know this can't be because it ran and reved when I changed parts mentioned above.
I'm lost!

I was in a hurry this morning and forgot to mention that I had already checked that and was well within specs. Any way to check MAP without just replacing it? I took it off and the lil' tube was good and passages were clear in TB and MAP sensor. Didn't spray anything into it.
I have been reading the search and FAQ's but have come to a dead end.
Thanks!

Check the resistance on the fuel injectors. What are the specs for this?
Check the resistance on the ignition coil. Did and fine.
Make sure the throttle linkage is on the throttle body correctly. Done
Double check the spark plug wire routing. Done
Did you take the throttle body off?

I was asking about the throttle body because I put the gasket on my camaro backwards one time and it didn't sound right at all when I revved it up a little.
The fuel injectors should read 12 ohms +- 1.2 ohms.
Another thing you can try is swap the horn or fog light relay with the ASD relay since they use the same relay.

Thanks for the specs!
Another thing I found odd was when it was running and would rev up, this lasted for a few minutes as I was wanting it to get to operating temp. I had the engine running around 1500-2000 rpm then it suddenly dropped to 900-1000 rpm and has been this way since.
Also have looked into the intake and seen no pooling of oil. I also pulled PVC from cover and blocked the breather port. There was no sign of vacuum in the engine so I think my intake is fine and I don't seem to have the symptoms that I have read about on searches.

Ok so I have it running now......sort of. I turned the dist a lil' more and it fired right up and idled fine and reved like it should.
After I shut it off a few times it won't idle or start very well unless the gauges all read right with switch on. By this I mean if I turn the switch on and the volt gauge stays on 8, the fuel and oil pressure gauge are pegged it won't start or idle very good.
I can keep it running with slight throttle then all of a sudden it will rev up and the gauges read normal. If I turn the switch on and the gauges are where they are suppose to be it will fire right up, idle and rev.
What has the gauges and running crappy or good have to do with one another? Been over and cleaned the grounds and connections many times.
