Still under warranty? Take it to where you had it rebuilt.

No shift solenoid for first gear.

Ya unfortunately no its been a few years. It's gotten the governor pressure solenoid code too in the last month. I replaced that and the transducer last year sigh. Thinking about getting a new solenoid kit and aftermarket gps. I reset my ecu and it's shifting fine again but I don't want it to happen again. Any tips for kits or tips?

Get the BW heavy duty solenoid from Electrical Advantage on Ebay. They sell the sensor/solenoid kit for under 100 bucks.

alright. In terms of switching all that out myself, is it difficult? the only thing im not familiar with switching out is the 3-4 accumulator spring included in that kit. where is it at?

Above the accumulator piston. It's obvious once you are inside. Don't even really have to worry about it, if it isn't giving you a problem.

Only fun part is the O/D and TCC solenoids, running the harness without dropping the valve body can be challenging, but, not as challenging as dropping the valve body.

OK i think i know where that is, is there any behavior that might mean i should just go ahead and switch it out. i thought i was have to drop the valve body to get od solenoid in there but you can do it with it still on?

Supposedly. I think it's just that the harness runs in some awkward places..... check it out when you have the pan off, take it from there. (and let us know. )
