I've seen a few leaking injectors on the newer trucks that could cause your cold missfire
the only way to find out was to pull the fuel rails and watch the Injectors

the injector tip leaks off pressure, slightly longer than normal cold crank time and rough idle cold, smoke was not a complaint but that doesn't mean it didn't.... I didn't notice

Dont get all pissed off with me, if you go look at what I reply to in the forum, you will see I know what I am talking about. For your information, I do all my own work, and have built trucks of all nature, from lifted beasts, to show trucks, and lowered. That comment was funny and you are going to get smart *** comments, dont get all butt hurt, at no point did he direct any negative comment to you personally. Just because I think his comment is funny, does not mean that I am directing any negativity toward you. I have been wrenching on anything with a motor since I was about 8 years old and since then I have received a degree in Mechanical Engineering so I would say I am a little beyond just working on my truck. Just relax, dont be such a baby.
