Check Out Shaq's Custom Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat

NBA star Shaquille O’Neal has a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody that has a personality almost as large as him.

Shaquille O’Neal (or, we all affectionately know him as Shaq) has made his love for Dodge Chargers very clear. For his 50th birthday, he scored a Dodge Charger and added a laundry list of modifications to it. This time around is no exception. Leaving no stone unturned, Shaq took his new whip to Forbes Performance, who wasted no time in turning an already incredible muscle car into something fit for the Shaq.

Red LED lights were added throughout the car — like the daytime running lights, undercarriage lights, and to accent the SRT logo on the grill. The brake calipers were also swapped for striking red variants. Instead of normal headlights, they were swapped with bright green LED bulbs that project graphics onto the road. Naturally, paying homage to his incredible career as an NBA player, his Los Angeles Lakers jersey number (34) is proudly displayed on the hood.

Showing off his career as a memelord, Shaq had a decal of his own Hot Ones face on the rear end below his custom diffuser. Under the hood, though, Shaq wanted things the way they were meant to be. The Charger Hellcat Widebody’s 6.2 liter V8 was left to churn all 797 horses along with 707 lb-ft of torque in peace. While nothing is confirmed, rumors are swirling that his particular Charger is jailbroken to make all 807 horsepower.

Shaq isn’t the first celebrity to collect and customize cars to be incredible specimens, and he won’t be the last — but it’s refreshing to see such a prolific person continue to show high-output V8s some love. He hasn’t indicated his collecting days are over, so it’ll be interesting to see what other Chargers he ends up adding into the garage.
