Real Brotherhood of Muscle Dodge Commercial

Starring vehicles owned by normal folks like us, this new Dodge commercial celebrates the modern muscle car.

It’s no secret that Dodge is on the cusp of making major changes to its lineup, ones that are spurred on by an electrification shift across the entire automotive spectrum. After years of making fire breathing, increasingly powerful, V8-powered machines that we all know and love, Dodge is now pivoting to EVs, even though it’s working overtime to try and make them every bit as compelling as their existing ICE-powered offerings. At the same time, the brand knows that it has a broad base of enthusiasts that it needs to appease through this process, and the latest effort at doing just that comes to us in the form of this new Dodge commercial.

Dubbed “The Real Brotherhood of Muscle,” this new Dodge commercial is the very first to be shot entirely by fans, composed of footage acquired by the real owners of those vehicles. It’s a bit of a montage complete with some interesting camera work, crazy angles, and cut footage showing off the sights and sounds of modern day muscle cars like the Charger and Challenger.

Even better, the owners of these machines have their social media handles proudly displayed in the video as well, which is sure to earn them a few more followers when it’s all said and done. Many of the cars shown off in this short clip are modified – some heavily – showing off the true diversity of taste and style in the world of the modern Dodge muscle car, as well as the many different kinds of folks that they appeal to.

“If you’re loud, be louder,” the voice-over boldly asks of us. “If you wanna go fast, go faster. If you stand out, stand strong. And if you’ve got the devil on your shoulder, take him for a ride.”

It’s a commercial fitting of Dodge’s image, which is one of a rebellious automaker that’s known for bucking trends and tradition, in some cases, with bold, in-your-face street machines. That may not be the case much longer, but for now, we’re certainly going to enjoy every second of it.
