Check for 12 volts on the fuel pump (under the rear seat) I need to know it's getting voltage ....
or swap the relays around and see if the trouble moves ...trouble moves bad relay

I don't have my chiltons with me ... but check the distributor for 12 volts as well //

If both have voltage I'd say bad distributor

I know there is no spark, are you cking for spark from the dist or from the coil? And have you ck the wire harness leading to the dist and crank sensor? With 116.000 miles on the engine has the timing belt been replaced? I have had mits electronics go out in the past and the problem was the ECU, and also had bad dist too.

If the timing jumps it should still have spark ...These motors are Zero Clearance motors meaning if the timing belt breaks or skips two teeth the Valves will likely hit the pistons and bend/be damaged
