I have a 96 with a 2.5. It won't turn over & the antilock light stays on.Any ideas? Appreciate the help.

 

Do you hear the fuel pump kick on ???

to check fuel pump.... turn the key to the on position. listen for a quick humming noise. thats the fuel pump working

 

or you can pop the rear set bottom off and open the hatch behind the drivers side and check for voltage ...

If the engine does not turn over...Why would the fuel pump turn on?

Check to see if the starter is getting power. It has one thick wire going to it, which should have battery voltage all the time.

The other wire should have 12 volts when you try to start the car.
