Ram 50? hahaha
So I'm used to MA and the fact that oddball vehicles are rusted out and decommissioned, I visited FL and I saw a Ram 50! Kinda neat looking but are they a failure? Are Dakota's superior to them minus the engine? I think they weigh a bit less than a Dakota and I assume the chassis/suspension is a bit undersized compared to a Dakota?
They look like a cool lifted project, get a V8 in there and it might be worth it? They don't look as clean as a Dakota for a street truck with that black thing behind the door windows IMO.

Heres a picture of the 3
Says their second Gen went from 87-96 just like the Dakota...interesting. Might be a fun mini 4x4 project it could squeeze anywhere!
Uh-Oh, my bad won't happen again.
I found the Mitsu wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Triton

Mitsu, did re- enter the Mopar world at the beginning of the 3rd Gen Dakotas as a Raider

^I would totally shave those corner turn signals and stick some behind the grill somewhere

I think I have only seen 1 or 2 Raiders in my life, and probably about 4 or 5 Ram 50's. I think I have seen more Jeep Comanches or even Dodge Rampages than Raiders and Ram 50's combined :P
A Raider would be cool to turn into an offroad machine, depending on what kind of limitations you have as far as how big of an engine can you wedge in it. They sort of remind me of the Bronco II's.

My father had a Bronco II when I was a kid (8-12) I loved going off-roading being able to see up into the trees through those rear windows, only had a V6 but it was a 5-speed. Deff felt bigger than a Raider
i knew someone with a raider suv in high school...and my next door neighbor has a ram50 with i think 500k on it or something ridiculously close.
Speaking of the new mitsu raiders, are thoise 4.7's for the V8? I've seen a few that had the badge but wan't really sure if they had that option

look around LOTSA guys dropping 318s and 340s into those trucks, Plymouth also had a version I think they called an "Arrow" there was also a small car in the 70s Plymouth sold as an "Arrow" same car as a Dodge Colt from same era
Mitsu****si's version was called a "Mighty Max (same exact truck as Ram 50)
