Hmm...so 94-96 for the flat gate? I wonder if it has to be a sport...or maybe it was just plainly cheaper to produce toward the end of the generation?

 

The only mods done by whoever had the truck before my parents bought it were the grille guard and cab spoiler at least that's all the guy told us. I did notice though that the light is on upside down on mine and the hole to put it in was shaped that way too.

Your right it is upside down. Maybe the light was added in as well as the tailgate.

 

Checked.. The tailgate is stock they came with the SLT

 

The SLT was reversed or it came with a light?
