whats next on the repair list for a bad idle?

Oh, ok. I see now. Thats one part of my truck I haven't ever replaced. Good to know though.

what scanner would i need to use? the earliest time i could have the timing light is probly friday night or saturday morning. i dodn't get a chance to check the wires this morning and i was busy fixing the brakes on my neighbor's ford(and what a pita that was). Since i don't start work till around 1 tomorrow i'll check it tomorrow

i checked the timing and it was dead on. my mechanic drove in from new mexico today(hes moving to alaska) it was a surprise visit. but he took a look, revved it up held it at about 2200rpms and blew a clutch line, now we're thinkin about going back through the wiring. i'm starting to think an injector is plugged up because the backfire is a miss.

well after much trial and error that my mechanic and i did, we came to the conclusion of a flywheel issue. so i'm going to order a new one and clutch kit and see if it changes at all...hopefully it will get done on saturday.
