The turbo sound is incredible, I'm not exaggerating when I say it sounds like you're riding in a semi.

Got the AEM WB today so I did some playing with boost, still not tuned very well yet, here's a little teaser, this is 3rd gear. It will actually build boost at less than 2k in 4th..

The whole point of having a supercharger is that it doesn't have to spool....

No idea. It was somewhere around 7.5 seconds i think. Doesn't build much boost in 1st or 2nd since there isn't much load but once I get the tune where I'm confortable with it I'll let 'er rip!

it was a joke...they do make an awesome sound, though.

i haven't come across and supercharged 1st gens, i think people haven't done that because they would end up putting in more than the truck is worth lol...

i've never had a turbo truck, but i have had a bunch of turbochaged cars and i have yet to drive one that spools up before 1k on the rpm scale in 1st. hell, my 88 shelby z idled at 1k so it never had to spool up...lol

I've seen a couple supercharged 1st gens, I think I actually know of more turboed 1st gens than supercharged.

Hmm, didn`t realize you had an external gate, that looks to be at least a 38mm tial? I know you`re not after serious boost, but I`m sure that tial could darn near stall that turbo out; you should try that 12cm housing. I`ll bet you could spool it in 1st and 2nd then and probably have it spooled before 2k in 3rd from a roll... But thats just my opinion, I`m addicted to fast spooling turbos with this VGT stuff
