Default Tires stock height/lift.

A friend of mine has a set of Mickey Thompson 30x9.50-15s for sale for a decent price. Will they make the truck completely un-driveable if I get them and put them on until I can get the coil spacers, the back looks like the would probably fit there, just don't know about the front. It's a 96 2wd.

Also, where can I get 2" coil spacers from and how much lift does an add-a-leaf give you?

I have 31x10.5s on my truck. Its 4wd with a 2inch body lift. My tires dont rub anything on the frame like the 32x12.5s that were on it when I bought it. Even if I didnt have the body lift I am pretty sure they wouldnt rub on the back, nor on the front. May be close to the fenders but I still dont think it would rub just from memory of what my wheel wells look like over my tires, I havent done any measuring. So with 30s I think they would run until you got a lift done if thats what you are going for.

I think I have read the Add a Leafs add maybe around 2"? Maybe someone will post to confirm or deny. THere is some lift info in the FAQs though if you want to check out all your options. Or click the link here that I will graciously provide you

A 2" coil spacer usually would give you between a 5 to 6" lift. SPC makes some 1" ones. (Maybe you could double stack them?) Mine gave me almost 3" of lift.

Sean you must mean a 2-3 lift, lol 5-6 dont make sense. I had 31x10.5 on my old 4x4 dak with no problems at all. if you run into rubbing get the hammer out and do some bashing! lol

Yeah. I don't question them fitting on a 4x4. But my dak is 2wd so I have my doubts. Best thing i can do is go look at them and see if they will fit.

SPC's website says a spacer will generally give between 2.5-3 times it's width for a lift. Like I said mine gave me just about a 3" lift with a 1" spacer so I was just going based off what the spec sheet says and doubled the lift I got. Mine also is a 2WD

1in spacer will give 1in. 2in spacer will give 2in. With the 2wd I did 2-1in spacers per side. 2in of lift.
